The Screaming Rabbit depicts the feeling you get when things crowd up in life and decision-making is not possible.

SYMBOLS & ICONS:

The rabbit is a recurring figure in Maria’s work which often represents hope and continuity. Little plastic figurines, toys and amulets represent various crises and perils in the lives of Maria and her family.

MATERIAL NOTES:

The rabbit is ceramic with barbed wire surrounding his body.
