ARTIST NOTES:

The Miami Sun is one of the oldest hotels in downtown Miami. The Islanders come to pack the purchases they have made for the Island business and for holiday presents.

Maria did this painting following a first trip to Miami to visit a friend. It inspired her to pack up and move to this complex and vivid city.
